Summer BreakSpot 
The Children's Services Council of Broward County works closely with the South Florida Hunger Coalition and other partners to help reduce childhood hunger. Among a number of initiatives is the Mobile Summer BreakSpot program, a part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Summer Feeding program. The CSC, the lead funder of the Mobile Summer BreakSpot in Broward County, works with Florida Impact, Meals on Wheels South Florida and the Broward County Housing Authority, along with other community partners, to ensure children have access to a proper lunch and snacks.

If you have a teenager with Special Needs, you will definitely want to attend the 8th Annual Teens' Transition To Life Summit on Sept. 23, 2017. It's an informative day for youth with learning differences who are interested in college, vocational education and other options in life after high school. Parents are also able to attend workshop and gain access to invaluable resources.

Drug-Endangered Child Training
FREE. Drug endangered children are part of a growing population of children whose lives have been seriously and negatively impacted by dangerous drugs. This training will look at overcoming the challenges in aligning the agencies and systems responsible for preventing, intervening, and treating issues related to drug endangered children. Open to all law enforcement, prosecutors, child protective services, mental health, educational, substance abuse professionals, juvenile court and other community stakeholders.
