New Bat rules go into place on January 1, 2018

We have been communicating with everyone for some time now about the new bat rules going into effect starting 1/1/2018.  The new bats will be available for purchase at certain retailers and online starting 9/1/2017.

Current bats will be able to be used through the 2017 Fall Ball Season.

Please note...  There is NOT any bat out there right now that will be legal in Little League after 1/1/2018.  All players must have a new bat starting on 1/1/2018.

This includes all levels of play.  From T Ball through Majors.  All Little League bats MUST have the new "USA" Bat Logo on the bat to be used after 1/1/2018.

One big thing that you will notice is the bigger 2 5/8" barrel will be now allowed in Little League.

The new bat rules have been issued from USA Baseball and will impact not only Little League Baseball, but numerous youth baseball organizations including Babe Ruth Baseball, Call Ripken Baseball, Dixie Baseball and Pony Baseball.

The rule change does NOT impact Softball.  There are no bat rule changes for Little League Softball.

Please note:  When you purchase your new bat, it MUST have the USA Baseball Logo on it.  ( See logos below)   Please watch for companies and website offering " Sales and Specials" as they may be trying to dump their existing stock on bats that are no longer legal.
