Suffolk Students Give Roche Bros.
Fresh Perspective on Downtown Crossing

Roche Bros. supermarket recently worked with Suffolk University utilizing 376 business students to conduct a survey to learn about catering in Downtown Boston.

The students examined: How does a business become a preferred catering vendor in Downtown Crossing? What's the best way to engage college student shoppers in the area? Students conducted detailed market research on both questions.

The Downtown Boston BID helped distribute the survey through its newsletter and social media channels. The meaningful data that was gathered enabled the students to provide Roche Bros. executives with valuable market research. The students also provided actionable steps to increase business immediately, and creative concepts to explore.
"The students gave us great insight into the two research questions and it's also helpful to have secondary confirmation of some data we're using and plans we're already implementing," said Dena Kowaloff, director of marketing for Roche Bros.

Click here to see the students' innovative recommendations and learn how Suffolk University and Roche Bros. benefited from the experience. If you're interesting in working with Suffolk students on your business challenge, please email the Marketing Department at  [email protected].
