The 4th Annual Metastatic Breast Cancer Conference will be held on Thursday, October 12 - Friday, October 13 in Houston, Texas.  The advocacy program will begin with an opening reception on Wednesday, October 11.

This year's MBC Conference will be hosted once again by Baylor College of Medicine, Lester & Sue Smith Breast Center and Theresa's Research Foundation.  This is a Medical Conference with high level scientific content, however, we will also offer a limited program for advocates. It is recommended that attendees have experience in advocacy or research.   A limited number of travel scholarships is available for Patient Advocates.

The conference will present updates on basic science, clinical, and survivorship issues that relate to the development, treatment, and sequelae of metastatic breast cancer. The integration of all three aspects is presented with the belief that collaboration across disciplines is required to understand and effectively treat  disseminated disease.

If you are interested in applying for one of the advocate travel scholarships, please click on the link below for more information and to begin the process. If you have questions, visit www.metastaticbreast.org  or contact me at [email protected].
