Ommmm...

Yoga is very different from running, but it is still beneficial to your training. The focus and concentration required for yoga is great for clearing your head, making it easier to visualize your running goals. It also teaches you to breathe more efficiently and can increase your range of motion, while at the same time reducing the physical strain of on your body when you run.  Besides all that, the increased flexibility and regular stretching can even lower your run times!

Fuel Your Run
Unsure if you should eat before a run? It depends on the length and intensity of your planned workout! If your run is shorter, oatmeal and yogurt with fruit are great options. However, for your longer runs you need enough energy to power through. Toast with peanut butter and banana slices and a turkey-filled tortilla are some wonderful choices to carry you through a long run.
