Pastor Umar from Uganda
Sun. Sept. 10 @ 5 pm.  This pastor is a former Muslim who encountered Jesus through dreams and converted to Christianity. He has survived 11 attempts on his life, including having acid poured on him. He would not have survived this attack except for God's intervention. He carries a very compelling message, with an aim to motivate Christians to preach boldly the Truth and to stand up and be a light to the world. Pastor Umar will give a brief presentation in both morning worship services on Sept. 10, and will tell his full story on Sunday evening. Don't miss it! Read more here.
The cinder blocks are onsite, and red iron is scheduled to arrive any day.  We have passed inspection for electrical and plumbing, and are now in the process of installing new door frames and sheet rock.  You will be able to see changes taking shape quickly now.  The lower level hallways are shrinking due to temporary walls, so please watch your step!

Reminder:  Please use our convenient check in stations located throughout the building to record your attendance and print a name tag.  Visitors may use the kiosk manned by our host staff in the Commons.  An accurate count of how many people are in each class helps us evaluate individual classroom space needs as we look forward to completing our construction.
