LAKEVIEW EAST FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS

The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts showcases more than 150 juried artists featuring paintings, sculpture, photography, furniture, jewelry and more. These original pieces are for sale in a wide range of price ranges. In addition to the art, the Festival has become a center of activity for the weekend with live demonstrations, entertainment stages, family activities and a garden oasis.
For more than 13 years, the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce has presented one of the most unique and popular art festivals in Chicagoland. Every aspect, from artists to musicians to vendors and everything in between, is specifically selected by the Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce in order to bring the best to the heart of Lakeview. Visit our website for more information!
CONSTRUCTION UPDATE

The major work for the Broadway Water Main has been completed.  Over the next week there will be replacement of ADA ramps at intersections on the west side of Broadway between Belmont and Addison.  The Lakeview East Festival of the Arts will have a street closure at noon on Friday, September 8 th through Sunday, September 10 th (11PM).  Additional ADA ramps will replaced on the east side of the street after September 10 th with asphalt resurfacing by end of September.  We look forward to having a promotion for all businesses within the construction zone end of September/early October.

New lights and sidewalks have been under repair north of Addison to Grace.  The new lights and streetscape has been a long awaited improvement to the northern part of our district.  Alderman Cappleman's office is working with CDOT on this project and we expect this to be ongoing throughout the month.  We will update you when a definitive timeline is available.
