Amerikadagen - the bridge to USA becomes faster and better!
On March 27th, the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce USA brought the U.S. market to Gothenburg through the one-day event Amerikadagen. SACC-Texas President Stefan Lloyd and Mike Skelton of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce attended the event to help promote the U.S., and more specifically Texas, to attendees.

An IKEA employee since 1998, David has been based in Houston since 2011. He oversees all purchasing for IKEA Trading in North, Central and South America. |

Planning for SXSW 2015 is already underway!
South by Southwest (SXSW) is one of the most popular festivals and trade shows for the creative and interactive industries in the US. With around 400 Swedes present, Sweden was well represented at this year's edition of the interactive part of the SXSW festival with big names such as Spotify, King, and Toca Boca.Next year's edition is going to be another fantastic opportunity to get visibility both in Sweden and here in the US.

Johanna was chosen as the official photographer for the DFW Family Expo and her photos were featured in the most recent edition of Nordic leading sports store Gymgrossisten's magazine. |

The event during SXSW was a new version of the well attended music & business matchmaking-party that SACC-Austin has hosted on their roof terrace on 6th St, for several years. This year, the event was extended to three days, and co-hosted by other Swedish organizations, such as the Embassy of Sweden in the U.S., the Swedish Institute, Media Evolution, and Lule� Business Region. |
