As early as Monday, July 24, the Senate could consider a motion to proceed
to consideration of the healthcare bill passed by the House earlier this year.
Passage of this motion would START DEBATE
on needed healthcare reform.

Obamacare is imploding, yet the Democrats are determined to obstruct and do nothing to relieve America of the burdens of the onerous law.
"Any senator who votes against starting debate is really telling America that you're fine with Obamacare,"
President Trump
said on Wednesday. "A 'yes' vote will let senators debate the future of health care and suggest different ways to improve the bill."
If debate is allowed to begin, Senators will have the opportunity to work their will on the bill through the amendment process.
- The first amendment likely to be considered would substitute the language of the Obamacare repeal bill which the Congress passed but President Obama vetoed last year.
- The Senate previously passed the bill by a vote of 52-47, and the House passed it by a vote of 240-181.
- Passage of the bill now would give the Congress the opportunity to put a simple repeal bill on the President's desk - a President who is ready to move forward.
Republicans have been promising repeal for seven years. As Vice President Pence said, "Inaction is not an option."
