2017 Agents & Editors Conference
Update 7/20/17- Wrapping Up
Thank you for making the 2017 Agents & Editors Conference a weekend of literary inspiration and connection. Every year, without fail, as the event comes to a close we think to ourselves "wow, this literary community of ours is pretty amazing." This year was no different. We couldn't do it without you and we miss you already, truly.

On the off chance you're missing us, too, here's one final mailer with a few notes and resources from the conference:
  • Lost and found. We have some unclaimed items that were dropped off at the staff table throughout the weekend. If you're missing something, give us a call at 512-499-8914 and we'll see if we have what you're looking for.
  • Keep us posted. Every year, attendees from the conference make meaningful connections and gather important information that proves to be invaluable as they begin the journey toward publication. We hope that you'll stay in touch and let us know your good news as it happens! Feel free to reach out directly to us by phone or by emailing Program Director Michael Noll at [email protected]. (And keep our monthly Open Office Hours in mind if you need some advice or just want to discuss next steps with a friendly staffer. We're here for you!)
  • Sunday presentations. We have posted handouts from several of our Sunday presentations here.
  • Survey. You should have received an email with a link to a survey about the conference. We love getting your feedback as we strive to make this annual event as enjoyable for our attendees as possible. Didn't get the email with the survey? Drop us a note and we'll happily resend! BONUS: The first two registrants to respond to the survey will receive a free, one-year subscription to Writer's Digest.
  • Keep honing your craft. If you're finishing a project or starting a new one, please consider our Summer Writing Workshop, a week-long craft workshop held in Austin in August. You'll find classes on fiction, nonfiction, memoir, revision, and poetry, taught by experienced instructors. At night, we'll explore the literary life of Austin with some special events. You can find more details here.
  • WLT Members: Stay in touch with your fellow writers. If you want to chat, share notes, or maybe start up a critique group or partnership, take advantage of our members-only Writer Classifieds. Fill out a form here, and then log into the Writers' League website with your member ID and password to see messages from other writers. (Look for the link in the sidebar.)
Thank you again! And please stay in touch.
