Public Open House - Phase 3 and 4 Preliminary Plans (100Avenue)
City staff invite members of the public to attend an open house on July 19 at 5pm.
Preliminary plans for Phases 3 and 4 (100 Avenue) of the Downtown Rehabilitation and Streetscapes project will be on display. City staff and the engineering consultant (ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd.) are to be in attendance to engage with the public, discuss the design and answer questions.

Phase 1 and 2 Update (101 Street/101 Avenue)
Construction Highlights:
Last week, crews began work on a new section of 101 Avenue between 102 Street and 101 Street. The entirety of work in this section includes deep underground utility replacements and above ground surface work. Paving stones have been installed on the corner of 99 Avenue and 101 Street.
Surface work on 101 Avenue between 101 Street and 100 Street is planned to commence in approximately one week. Temporary water lines will soon be replaced with permanent water lines. Currently crews are performing various water and pressure tests
Surface work continues along 101 Street.
Crews are installing soil cell structures, cement stabilized subgrade, gravel, curb and gutter, electrical, and irrigation.

Traffic Accommodation
- 101 Street is closed to vehicle traffic and parking between 99 Avenue and 102 Avenue. Traffic flow on 99 Avenue and 100 Avenue remains unaffected.
- 101 Avenue between 102 Street and 101 Street is closed to vehicle traffic and parking.
- 101 Avenue between 100 Street and 101 Street is closed to vehicle traffic and parking.
