Dear Dr.  ,

The American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) Resident Committee is offering a funding opportunity to support small but worthwhile research projects. ACRO will provide two $1,000 seed grants for radiation oncology residents. $500 will be used to fund the research project, and $500 will be used for travel to the ACRO 2018 Annual Meeting taking place February 1-3, 2018.

Eligible applicants must be Resident Members of ACRO and in good standing at a US residency program. Applicants must list a primary mentor for their project. Awardees are required to provide a 1-page interim report of their project by September 25, 2017 and be ready to submit an abstract describing their project to the Annual Meeting by early November 2017.

Submissions can be sent via email to Robert Hay ([email protected]), no later than 11:59 PM EST Monday, August 7, 2017. Submissions will be assessed and scholarships awarded by members of the ACRO Resident Committee with input from the Board of Chancellors as needed. Click the apply button at the top of this email for application materials.

Sincerely,

ACRO Resident Committee
