Our summer camp is in full swing, and we are excited about all the adventures to come in the next few weeks.  We encourage you to follow us on our journey as we discover our potential.
CONGRATULATIONS
On June 22nd The Commons celebrated its young scholars with an end of the school year celebration.  Our youth performed as part of the ceremony, stirring the crowd with a choral presentation of Bill Withers' "Lean On Me".  Our Executive Director, Kelley Williams, commended the youth and their families on their many accomplishments throughout the year.  The ceremony was followed by a party, where The Commons family enjoyed  refreshments, fun, and most importantly, each other.
Congratulations to all for completing another successful year.
THANK YOU
We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who made our annual celebration such a success.  Your support of our community helps us continue creating opportunities for youth and their families to discover their potential.
Special thanks to Shawn Dove and Campaign for Black Male Achievement for sponsoring the documentary short, I Am Somebody!
