For all classes the materials fee is an additional cost with a $10 minimum each class, will depend on what you use, and will be paid to the instructor during class.

Students are encouraged to bring their own hand tools and materials from home. Please wear closed toed shoes and long hair back.

All Things Rings - Beginner Level
 
Saturday, August 26, 12:30-5pm

$65 plus $10 minimum materials fee
Class size is 4 to 6 students.

 This class features multiple hand techniques used in fabricating rings in wire and sheet from silver, copper, and brass. Prior soldering skills are helpful but not required.

  Students will be able to complete one small project during the class.


Metalsmithing Basic s

$209 (or $65 each class) plus $10 minimum materials fee each class.
Class size is 4 to 6 students.

This class is designed to cover many all-purpose techniques in metalsmithing, including: sanding, filing, sawing, cutting, piercing, texturing (hammer, stamping, etc.), polishing, etching, patinas, cold connections, annealing, and soldering.

Students will be able to complete several small projects featuring the techniques discussed during classes.
   
 

 
Silver Casting for Jome Jewelers - Intermediate
  
Saturday, September 16, 12:30-5pm

$65 plus $10 minimum materials fee.
Class size is 4 to 6 students.

This class features low-tech casting methods for jewelry or small metal projects focusing on recycling silver scraps from your home studio. Please get content OKed by the instructor.

Students will be able to sample three or four different casting types during the class.

Join us for our brand new weekend glass and metalsmithing workshop by Marianne Hite
and Kristina Malcolm.

Saturday's class will  work with dichroic glass and glow in the dark glass to make cabochons. 
Then class will continue on Sunday when students will learn to hand build a bezel setting for their glass piece and then use the bezel to create and adjustable ring.
