Opening Fall 2017: Bright Horizons at Bellevue Spring District
Bright Horizons is opening a new child care center in the Spring District neighborhood of Bellevue. Bright Horizons at Bellevue Spring District will serve children 6 weeks to 6 years old with Infant - Kindergarten Prep programs.

The center highlights include high-quality curriculum, Movement Matters Zone, STEM lab, art studio, SMART Board, and touch screen computers. Foreign language and music enrichments will also be included in tuition.

Affordable Housing Takes Center Stage July 13

State Adopts Budget but Session Continues    
On June 30, the Legislature and Governor Inslee agreed on a budget deal - narrowly averting a government shutdown. The new $43.7 biennial budget assumes $1.6 billion from state property tax increases for education. However, the 3rd Special Session continues as legislators seek a solution to the controversial Hirst decision, relating to water rights. Stay tuned for details on the education funding package, paid family leave and more.

Washington State is the top state for business according to a study by CNBC. CNBC's study found that the state's economy grew 3.7 percent in 2016, nearly two and a half times the national rate.
