City News Hour September 11, 2017 Canceled |
The City News Hour for September 11, 2017 is canceled. The citizen survey results will be presented at the September 5, 2017 City Council Meeting. |
City Offices Summer Hours |
Starting June 2, 2017, City Hall, Public Works and Public Safety Offices will close at 3:00 pm every Friday until Labor Day. |
70th Street to 73rd Street The Contractor will be installing water main and sanitary sewer services the week of August 28th. When the new water services are connected to the existing service, there will be a time when your residence will be without water.
This should be a short period. If you experience any issues with water pressure or have rust or dark colored water, please stop running the water and call Wyatt Klooster, Bolton & Menk, at 563-249-1719. He will assist you with the process. The Contractor plans to works Saturdays if weather permitting.
66th Street to 68th Street The Contractor will be backfilling and grading the week of August 28th. Once the driveways have time to cure, residents may use their driveways (barricades will be removed at that time).

2017 Sidewalk Improvement Project

Work between 70th Street and 68th Street will continue. The Contractor will be grading the week of August 25th.
Work between 68th Street and Del Matro Court will begin the week of August 25th. Cars are to be removed from driveways.
Residents looking for a quote to redo the remaining part of their driveways can call Kingston Services at 515-221-9832. This work will not be part of the project. All work is between the homeowner and contractor.
