Duane LaClair, Debbie Wallen and Brian Ng
Mr. Duane LaClair serves as the Chief Air Pollution Control Engineer with the Akron Regional Air Quality Management District, a local air agency in Ohio. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology from Youngstown State University. The district spans 3 counties in Northeast Ohio and encompasses over 2100 facilities, serving a population of over 1.1 million. Mr. LaClair has been with the agency for over 20 years focusing on the permitting and enforcement of industrial and commercial air pollution sources. He has an extensive background in such areas as major new source review, Title V permitting, air emission quantification methods, and emission offsets. Mr. LaClair is also a Career Army Reserve Officer.
Ms. Debbie Wallen serves as an Environmental Specialist with the Akron Regional Air Quality Management District, a local air agency in Ohio. She holds a B.S. in Forestry Resources and Conservation from The University of Florida. The district spans 3 counties in Northeast Ohio and encompasses over 1,327 square miles. Ms. Wallen has been with the agency for over 15 years focusing on Open Burning, Fugitive Dust and Asbestos. She has an extensive background in such areas as nuisance abatement and environmental issues.
Mr. Brian Ng serves as the Asbestos Inspector with the Akron Regional Air Quality Management District, a local air agency in Ohio. He holds a B.S. from Case Western Reserve University. Mr. Ng has been with the agency for over 3 years focusing on inspecting the US EPA Asbestos NESHAP and Ohio EPA asbestos rules.
