BOOT CAMP
  DEPARTURE.

Let Us Be "Orange" by Working Together, Church
and Parents making Disciples of our Nearest

Parents and Camp Counselors, Boot Camp is around the corner. Before we pack our luggage and head to Boot Camp, let's pack our hearts "Right" in God's words to make disciples of CarmelKidz together by:
  • parents intentionally taking time to be "Nosy" to know where their kids are spiritually
  • camp counselors being on their knees praying for each child in their cabin and arm themselves with God's truth
Look for a daily email with your kid's daily God Time, memory verses and prayer focus.

JULY 16th is DEPARTURE DAY!

Camp Counselors, be here at church by 2 p.m. Report to your assigned area. If you are driving, park in the main parking lot.

Parents, be here by 2:15 p.m.  and place your child's luggage on their assigned bus. Come to the grade level tables and pick up your camper's name tags and leave your camp mail and/or any food/medicine that must be kept cool.

All other medicine should be turned in at the CarmelKidz Welcome Desk
on the 2nd floor at Carmel by 10am on July 16.

Campers should sit with their cabins at the front of the Worship Center.
Parents, sit in the back of the Worship Center.
After final instructions, we will head out for Look Up Lodge.
Parents, do not park your cars in the main parking lot and please wait until all the buses and cars leave for camp. We all need to travel together.

Parenting with the End in Mind

Are you a helicopter parent who micromanages your kid's world, does everything for them, jumps to fix everything? Do you realize that this high level of control doesn't help your kid become a brave, resilient, problem solver?

Listen to this Parenting Cue to become parents who IMAGE THE END, this Cue is by Jon Acuff, who was a main speaker for Carmel's Parenting Summit, and NY Times best selling author.

When you have the End in Mind, it helps you make wise decisions to allow your kids to become what God want them to be.

Boot Camp focus is L.O.R.D.S.H.I.P (Loyalty, Obedience, Respect, Duty, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage)
DURING CAMP: Memorize Ephesians 6:10-18
