A Message from the Principal...
Dear St. Louis Families,

September is in full swing...in fact, it is already half way through! This was a busy week with the beginning of grades 3-7 online Performance Series adaptive testing. Students will continue this with assessments in Reading, Language Arts and Math over the next couple weeks. All classrooms were busy with instruction and learning activities, and even some fieldtrips underway! I had the privilege of joining the 8th grade on their trip to Hemlock in Herndon, VA where they worked on leadership and team building skills. One group even worked together to hoist me over a 10 foot wall! No photo of that (for good reason!), but a photo of their awesome efforts is below.

I look forward to seeing all of you next week on Tuesday or Thursday night (or both), as we welcome you to our first PTO meeting and Back-to-School Night K-5 (Tuesday), and Middle School Back-to-School Night and Preschool Parent Open House (Thursday). Many blessings as you begin your weekend!

Peace,
Kathleen McNutt
Principal

St. Louis Community Meal Ministry
The meal ministry provides meals for St. Louis School families in need (new baby, illness, etc...). If you'd like to be a part, please e-mail your contact information to Mrs. Jennifer Cotnoir at jcotnoir@stlouisschool.org. You will be added to the list of meal providers. A sign-up is sent electronically when a need arises, and you will then have the option to sign up and prepare a meal. If you know of a family who could benefit, please let the front office or Mrs. Cotnoir know. We would also be willing to provide a once a month meal for families who have a deployed military parent.
