Such a pleasure to welcome Digital Office Equipment to Thomson and to the Chamber.  This is a family owned business out of Statesboro, GA.

Digital Office Equipment is a full-service office solutions company serving the CSRA and Southeast Georgia.  Founded in the 1990's, DOE has quickly become a local answer to products often bought at a national level.  They believe when the customer comes first, the rest falls into place.  Owners, Roy and Debbie Blackmon have been involved in the copier industry for over 45 years. Following suit, their two children Brad Blackmon and Courtney Blackmon Mills have both joined the family business.  

We are so glad that they have invested in our community by moving to Downtown Thomson.  Take a moment and visit them at 132 Main Street in the Knox Shopping Center.
The Thomson Farmers Market has come to a close.  We had a great season this year, and we appreciate those who supported our local growers.

Drugs Don't Work certification requires you to attend Supervisor Workshops annually.  These workshops will be at the Thomson Depot boardroom, and we'll have Terry Childers, Community Rep. from Bradford Health Services, as our guest speaker. 

Dates for the workshops:  

On July 20th, we cut the ribbon of the new location of The Wilson Company.  The new building is located on 244 Jackson Street directly across from Thomson First Baptist Church.  Chad Hammond, local Thomson Attorney, is the new owner of the real estate company.

The Wilson Company has served east Georgia since 1950, They are a full-service real estate brokerage, representing buyers, sellers, landlords and renters.  

The Thomson-McDuffie Chamber of Commerce has had a long lasting relationship with The Wilson Company, and we appreciate their continued support of the Chamber and our community.
