MONTEREY BAY BIRDING FESTIVAL

Pre-Festival Announcements

Saturday, September 23, 2017
The high waters from the winter rains are subsiding on the coastal sloughs, exposing their muddy margins, and the shore birds are arriving to take up the new habitat. Notable among the many this week are an American Golden Plover, Stilt Sandpiper, Solitary Sandpiper and a Ruff!
