The Materials Recovery Facility in Southfield is an efficient, state-of-the-art and highly automated facility that converts the recyclables that you put into your bin or cart into valuable resources that will be sold and reused to make new products.
Join us for a walking tour where visitors will learn about the technology used to sort and separate recyclables as well as why recycling is essential to our community and economy.

Do you want to know what is being done in your community to increase sustainability? After you attend RRRASOC's "Hazardous Waste Collection Day", stop in at the "Sustainable Homes Open House" to meet businesses and community groups who can assist you make your home and life more sustainable.
The Recycling Directory is a searchable, intuitive tool that provides you with RRRASOC specific information and tips on recycling, composting, reuse or disposal options.
