A Message from Child Care Aware of NH
|
|
August is upon us and a wonderful summer is well underway.
This August, CCAoNH continues to stay busy. We hosted our first round of successful
Learning Communities: Online Health and Safety Technical Assistance Support
meetings throughout the state. We will be hosting another series of meetings in August as well as in September. If you require help or are looking for encouragement as you navigate through the new health and safety training requirements, the Learning Community meetings are a great place to get technical assistance and support.
We have our first conference, of the academic year, coming up on September 23rd. The "
Caring for Our Children
" Conference in Nashua is another great place to get your required health and safety training hours. Several of the sessions satisfy the new health and safety training requirements that need to be completed by September 30, 2017. The "Caring for Our Children" Conference can also be used as a jump start on your annual six (6) hours of required health and safety trainings.
Please see below for more details about the conference.
This month, be on the lookout for the 2017-2018 Annual Training Calendar. The Annual Training Calendar will display trainings that Child Care Aware of NH will be hosting from September 2017 through June 2018. This tool can help providers purposefully find meaningful professional development throughout the state. In the meantime, if
you are looking for professional development in August, please take a peek at Child Care Aware Training Academy. This site offers online training options for early childhood professionals.
Please Save the Date for several events that are coming up in the next few months. October 2, 2017 CCAoNH will host the Training and TA Institute focusing this year on Emergency Preparedness. This event will take place in Concord, NH and is geared toward individuals who provide training and technical assistance to the early childhood workforce. Our next save the date event is on October 19, 2017. Join us for this year's NH Early Childhood Leadership Summit in Manchester, NH. This event is developed specifically for individuals in a leadership roll. Lastly, don't forget to mark your calendars for the "Caring for Our Children: Health, Safety, Nutrition and Wellness" Conference in Conway on November 5th. More details about each of these event will be available soon!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for everything you do for families and children. We hope that you enjoy this month's edition of Monthly Minutes.
