The armed robbery occurred just outside of the 43rd Ward at:
1400 block of West Lill Street
Although the identities of the offenders are unknown, the 19th District issued descriptions and a photo:
Offender #1 - Black or Hispanic male, possibly in his 20's, be
tween 5"3-5"5 in height, with dark facial hair. At the time, he was wearing a dark t-shirt, faded blue jeans, and black gym shoes.
Offender #2 - Dark-skinned Black male, possibly in his 20's, 6"0 in height. At the time, he was wearing a white tank top, faded blue jeans, and white gym shoes.
What you can do:
Be aware of crimes and alert your neighbors.
Pay special attention to any suspicious activity on your block.
Call 9-1-1 immediately and provide a detailed description of the offender(s) including the approximate clothing, weight, height, ethnicity, gender or any other unique characteristics.
If there is a witness, request their contact information.
