School is back in session...

The 2017-18 school year is in session at both campuses. Primary students opened the first day of school with prayer, fanfare and a celebration of new beginnings, including a refreshed campus. Thanks to a team of artists, painters and cleaners from AL, TN, VA, FL, GA, TX and Nazareth, the courtyard has new murals and the classrooms are painted and cleaned. Thanks, Roger Mardis, for coordinating the efforts of this team.

Friends, your financial, missional and prayer support is making a difference in the spiritual temperament in Nazareth. Thank you for being faithful to pray, give and go! You are truly helping enrich and enlarge NBS' capacity for ministry while Building the Rising Generations - Glorifying Jesus Christ through Distinctive Education .

Primary students start school in a freshly painted classroom with updated bulletin boards.

Manal Haddad leads students in an expository study of 1 Corinthians 13 at the opening Chapel service.

Incoming seniors gather to celebrate the opening of their last year of high school. This will be the 64th graduating class for NBS.

Michael P. Avramovich. A beloved Friend of Nazareth (Baptist School)
Potter's Wheel Youth Center (PWYC)
in Memory of Michael P. Avramovich

We are pleased to announce that the PWYC will open at the end of September. This center is the result of a generous donation from Susan Avramovich, wife of the late Michael P. Avramovich.

Michael loved children and helping children. His legacy lives on as youth from Nazareth and the surrounding areas are able to engage in after school and weekend sports, music, art, and discipleship programs. Zaher Haddad is serving as the Director for the PWYC. Zaher is a husband, father and youth leader. He is committed to excellence and building the PWYC to its capacity.

One of the programs will be biking. A program at the PWYC will be biking. This will include preparing to take part in the Jordan Valley Cycle event that will be held in March. This event is hosted by ServeNazareth, a FON partner. Students will be able to participate in one of the five day events.
