DANIEL EUGENE #NHV DRAG BOOK RELEASE 

Celebrating the release of his photo-book #NHVdrag- there will be pop-up drag performances on Saturday and Sunday @ 1, 3, 5pm. Performers will  create an immersive experience in a stage-less environment where performer and audience exist on the same field intermingling.

"Requiem for an Electric Chair" by Toto Kisuka 1:00pm Saturday and Sunday at Lotta Studios

A live performance by Toto Kisuka the recipient of the 2010 "Freedom to Create Prize."

A looped audio, movement, and a slide show to bring awareness of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the mistreatment of children, accused of witchcraft, who are driven into the streets to fend for themselves.  May contain graphic imagery.
SCSU MFA FRACT/FICTION READING @LYRIC HALL SATURDAY,  1:30-5:00pm Open Mic 4:00-5:00pm

Celebrating their eighth year of Southern Connecticut State University's Master of Fine Arts Program in Creative Writing with readings of fiction, poetry, and memoir, followed by an open mic for the audience.  Program faculty will be on hand to discuss the program's successes and offerings. 

Readings by:  Chelsea Dodd,  Rebecca O'Bern,  David Capps,  Molly Miller,  Mick Powell,  Shelley Stoehr,  Cole Depuy, and  Renee Ahmeti.
