Law and Order at Applebee's - TONIGHT!

Special Olympics athletes will once again partner with local law enforcement officials for Law and Order night at Applebee's locations tonight from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m at locations throughout Western New York.  Stop in for dinner to see your favorite athletes and to support Special Olympics NY!

Western Region Fall Season

The athletes of the Western Region have been busy with a jam-packed fall sports schedule.  Most recently, regional soccer was held at the Orchard Park Soccer Complex, regional golf at Chautauqua Golf Club, and local equestrian at EQUI*STAR.  This weekend will see our regional bocce event take place at a first-time location, Houghton College, in an exciting new partnership.

Super regional competitions in soccer, softball, and golf are coming up in the tail-end of September into October.  As always, the hard work and dedication of our athletes inspires us all!
Training Club Opportunities for Western Region Athletes

The Friends United training club will begin bowling in September at locations in Lackawanna, Tonawanda, and West Seneca. Click here for the full schedule. Athletes with valid medical and consent forms are welcome to join.

The Elite Iron powerlifting club will start training again on October 6 in the Wheatfield area. Sessions will be on Fridays at 6:00 p.m. Interested athletes with valid medical and consent forms can email Barb Jacob at brianjacobfamily@verizon.net or call 716-536-1408 after 4:00 p.m.
