Dear Parents,

It is good to begin the academic year with a strong partnership. I thank you for your participation in our Back-to-School nights. We are all working toward the same goal. To give your children the best education and skills they need for the future. Your support is a blessing to me.

We are off to a great start planning activities and events for everyone to enjoy. HSA will be sponsoring a Family Movie Night event to kick off the school year on Friday, September 22nd  at 6:30 pm. It is a fun night. Please consider joining us for this event.

The Ice Cream Social at Uncle Louie G's was a big hit! We had so many families come out and enjoy some ice cream and conversation!  Thank you to Mrs. Katie Miller-Creagh for organizing this night  for SCSS and to all who came to support our school.

Quote from Pope Francis:

"Let us ask for a faith that allows us to have trust in God no matter what the circumstances of life."

We are asked to put our trust in the Lord for He guides us through whatever may come our way. We need to have faith and trust that the Lord our God knows what we can handle. Through happy, sad, or difficult times we are asked to turn to God and trust in Him. Pray and ask Him for what it is that we need. God will provide in His time what is best for us.

Faithfully Yours,

Miss Giaquinto

A Few Important Notes:
  • Morning Drop Off: PLEASE be mindful of the morning drop off procedures. It is highly recommended that you drop off your child in the car line near the Principal. If you choose to park your car, then you MUST walk across to the family center sidewalk and follow the path to the school building.  Please DO NOT cross in  front of the car line. This is dangerous and is a safety issue. So please for the safety of our children and parents I ask that you adhere to the rules.  Thank you.
  • Please be very attentive and careful when driving into the parking lot especially during  morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up. Please do not park on the curb side of the church building at any time. The buses are having a hard time making the turn into the entrance when cars are parked there. Thank you for your cooperation.
  • If you have not already done so, please be sure to complete your online VIRTUS training or re-certification and send a copy of the report to: Mrs. Laura Hurley. Any one wishing to volunteer in the building or chaperone a field-trip must be Virtus certified.
  • Thank you everyone for your support of the "Student to Student: A Catholic School Response To Hurricane Harvey."  Our Dress Casual Day raised $470.00!!
