QU Fund 2017-18
Quincy University launched its 2017-18 QU Fund drive with a $1M goal on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at a reception held in the schools private dining room. 

Chairpersons for this year's campaign are Kevin '90 and Sheri (Davis) Reller '92.  The Reller's are dedicated university financial supporters and volunteers. Kevin formerly served as QU's vice president for advancement and has been a volunteer for QU Fund drive for many years.

The fund drive has topped the $1 million mark for the past seven years.  Last year, the QU Fund drive raised $1,010,943 in support of campus improvements, technology enhancements and student scholarships. 

Hurricane Harvey Relief Project
Quincy University and Dot Foods Inc. have joined forces to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey by collecting items that will be needed as the recovery process begins. Non-perishable Items and school supplies were collected all week and  will be transported by Dot Foods to Catholic Charities in Texas where they will be distributed to hurricane victims.

 "This is a way we can live out the Franciscan mission of service to others and hospitality and respect for all," said Father John Doctor, OFM, vice president for mission and ministry.  "QU has a long history of helping our brothers and sisters around the world and this is a great way for our student body to be proactive in response to a natural disaster."

Conover Named as QU's 23rd President
Quincy University's Board of Trustees unanimously approved the hiring of Phil Conover as president in a special board meeting on Saturday, September 9th, 2017. Conover will serve as president through the 2018-19 academic year.

Under Conover's leadership, the University has seen several new partnerships including expanded program offerings with John Wood Community College.  In addition, Conover was instrumental in quantifying QU's $53M annual economic benefit to the region.
