Fifteenth Sunday After Pentecost
September 17, 2017

"We invite everyone to share communion around God's altar.
We strive to be a welcoming and relevant Christian community doing what matters through prayer, worship, teaching, outreach, fellowship, and service.

We will demonstrate the real life application of scripture, tradition, and
reason by providing a safe place to respond to each other's needs,
hurts, joys, and interests."

BBQ Competition - Diocese of Atlanta Annual Council
Friday, November 10, 2017

Is Resurrection ready to form a team for a BBQ Cook-off Friday, Nov. 10th?! This year the Diocese of Atlanta Annual Council will be held in Gainesville.  On Friday November 10th, there will be a parish BBQ Cook-off at Grace Episcopal Church. 1st place: $5000, 2nd place: $2500, 3rd place $1500 toward winning parishes' outreach ministries. Resurrection has some good cooks. Let's get a team together!

Our Presiding Bishop, The Most Reverend Michael Curry, will visit the Diocese of Atlanta, October 11 - 13.  As our Chief Evangelist, Bishop Curry will bring his passion for the Jesus Movement  to Atlanta. The events are open to the public.  Several members of Resurrection's choir are going to sing in the Festival Choir for the service on Friday, October 13, at St. Luke's.

The 2017 Women's Retreat will be held at Camp Mikell October 20-22. The cost is $175, which includes all food, lodging and supplies.
The Very Reverend Mary Demmler has agreed to join us again to share some thoughtful and humorous stories and ideas.  There will be a sign-up sheet in the Narthex beginning this Sunday.  If you have any questions, please contact Linda Perry.

Bring your friends, sisters & daughters too and prepare to be blessed!
