Internment will follow in St. Mary's Columbarium.
A light luncheon will be held in St. Mary's Parish Hall
after the service where you may greet the family.
If possible, please bring a dessert for the reception.
Born in 1931, The Reverend Ronald W. Lockhart, Sr. was the loving husband of Sandra Lockhart, whom he married in 1969. They had one son, Ronald Lockhart, Jr., and two grandchildren.
Father Lockhart received his BS at the University of Tulsa in 1956 and Masters in Divinity at Crozer TS in 1962. He also attended University of Pennsylvania in 1964 and Episcopal Divinity School in 1966. He was ordained over 50 years - as a deacon on June 11, 1966 by Bishop Robert Lionne DeWitt and ordained a priest on October 1, 1966 by Bishop Albert Ervine Swift.
Rev. Lockhart was the Curate at St. Paul's Church, Philadelphia from 1966-1968, the Rector at Church of the Redeemer, Springfield from 1968-1970, and served at Christ Church, Media from 1997-1998.
The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to The Branches, in care of St. Mary's Church, 9425 Third Ave., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247.
Please remember Father Lockhart and his family, especially Sandra, in your prayers during this time of sorrow and loss.
