Director of Music Search
We have formed a search committee for our next Director of Music. We are trusting that God will faithfully lead us in this process. In the meantime we have hired an Interim Choir Director to assist with music in a part-time capacity. His name is Kedrick Armstrong  and he is a graduate of the Wheaton College music program. Kedrick currently serves as a conducting fellow with the Chicago Sinfonietta and is on the staff of the Hope Publishing Company. He brings an extensive background and church music leadership experience to his new role with us.

Boy Scout Troop 23
Troop 23 has been a part of First Pres since 1955 and continues to be a very active Troop with 80+ boy scouts. Over the past 4 or so years I've had the privilege of being the liaison for First Pres and Troop 23 fostering a strong and cooperative relationship. I have enjoyed my time as the Chartered Organization Representative (the official name) however the time has come for me to be moving on. Therefore, I am asking for another member of First Pres who is interested in helping Troop 23 keep that strong and cooperative relationship with First Pres. The position truly doesn't require a lot of time but it does need someone who supports Boy Scouts and Troop 23. If you are interested please contact me.
