Countdown to Hunger Hike = 3 Days
|
|
Hunger Hike is one of the most well respected and longest running fundraising events in our community.
Hunger Hike focuses simply on Fighting Hunger & Feeding Families. This year is the
25th annual Hunger Hike and there are a lot of exciting things planned for you.
You'll be able to meet
Purdue Pete & cheerleaders, the
Purdue Women’s Basketball & Crew teams and Coach
Sharon Versyp.
The national anthem will be sung by State Representative
Sheila Klinker, the Invocation will be offered by
Bishop Timothy Doherty, and
Zumba will be led by Brooke from
Studio b Dance & Fitness.
Keep raising money for Hunger Hike until we meet our goal — and join us for the Hunger Hike events this weekend to celebrate.

10th Annual Sidewalk Chalk Festival
|
The LUM
After School Program students recently took a trip to First Baptist Church, Lafayette, to participate in the 10th annual Sidewalk Chalk Festival. The students spent the afternoon drawing masterpieces in chalk on the city’s sidewalks and enjoying the artwork created by local artists.
Thanks to First Baptist Church for inviting our students. They learned a lot and had a blast. At the end of the day, the LUM students got a little silly for the group photo.
