Our hearts go out to the victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, but even the flood waters that damaged the JPB office in Houston cannot wash away the accomplishments of this past summer.
With the relaunch of our Interfaith Citizenship program in Texas, our partnership together transformed the lives of over 85+ young people and adults. Dialogues, workshops, sports, and new friendships transformed Jews, Christians and Muslims into one family focused on peace.

Highlights of our biggest summer include teens:
- Facilitating a public showing and dialogue of the critically-acclaimed film Disturbing the Peace with its renowned producer Steve Apkon as well as formulating Jerusalem Peace Plans during the Leadership Institute in Vermont
- Participating in a government simulation around US foreign policy toward the middle east peace process at the George H.W. Bush Library and Museum and leading an evening of interfaith music, prayer, and poetry for community members in Houston during the Interfaith Citizenship program in Texas
The JPB staff is grateful to you and to everyone for the prayers, support, and volunteering that made this life-changing summer possible for the Israeli, Palestinian, and American participants.
This fall, with the expansion of our presence in Jerusalem-area schools, as well as in Houston, we invite you to join us in the next exciting phase of our growing work.
