POAH launches Amy Anthony College Savings Program at Missouri ribbon cutting
POAH  launched the Amy Anthony College Savings Account program  to honor the organization's co-founder and former CEO at the dedication of the new Financial Opportunity Center at Hawthorne Place Apartments in Independence, MO Aug. 30. 

Starting in the fall of 2017, POAH will create college savings accounts for every child between 5 and 19 years of age who lives at Hawthorne Place, and whose family is participating in the Family Self Sufficiency program. POAH estimates that more than 600 children at Hawthorne Place are in eligible households.

Community, state and local leaders celebrate $9M renovation of former tool factory in Hartford

POAH launches 7th Family Self Sufficiency Program to help residents succeed

Connecticut Housing Commissioner Evonne Klein, Connecticut Housing Finance Agency Executive Director Karl Kilduff, HUD Field Office Director Suzanne Piacentini and Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin joined POAH and the Melville Charitable Trust to celebrate the completion of renovations at Billings Forge, a 113-unit mixed-income apartment complex located in the Frog Hollow neighborhood of Hartford.

helps celebrate groundbreaking
on Cape Cod

Congressman William R. Keating (D-MA 9th) joined local and state officials and affordable housing supporters and residents to celebrate the groundbreaking of Canal Bluffs III, a mix of affordable, workforce and market-rate apartment homes for families and seniors in a residential community off Rt. 28 in Bourne (Cape Cod) Massachusetts. 

Trinity Towers in Florida donates air conditioners to charity
 
On July 28, POAH donated three pallets of slightly used air conditioners to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Orlando, FL after they were used on a temporary basis for Trinity Towers East in Melbourne while central air conditioning was being replaced.
