Here Comes the Great American Eclipse!

After much anticipation, the Great American Eclipse is finally here! Today, millions of us will get to experience the best show above Earth. The last time a total eclipse was visible from coast-to-coast was on June 8, 1918. To find out what you can see and when you can see it based on your location, check out this interactive eclipse map. And remember: You wouldn't look into our LHP 5-million LUX water-cooled line light when it's fired up, so don't try to sneak a peek at the eclipse; be sure protect to your eyes with NASA ISO-certified eyewear.

To fill out this "sol" issue, below you will find stories on UV machine vision and multispectral imaging ---- two topics that align nicely with today's big show! So make sure you take a couple of minutes today to enjoy this historic moment ... the next coast-to-coast total solar eclipse will not be until August 12, 2045!
