Sex God: Exploring the Endless Connection Between Sexuality and Spirituality
Nate Note
My friends, what an amazing time we had on Rally Sunday! It was wonderful to look out during worship and see so many young people in the pews ready for a fresh fall season of connecting in the life of the church. I hope you had a good experience.

I've laced this email with a few opportunities that have come our way for service and learning. Please pray and ask God to help you discern if any of these are a great fit for you. For example, you may recall the UMCOR note from our last update that said of the 5 things you can do to help in the midst of hurricanes, the fifth was to please wait for an invitation to volunteer. Well, the Annual Conference is inviting you! Learn more about our Early Response Team!

Pub Theology should lead to some interesting discussion. A lot has happened since we last came together. Racism rallies in our streets. Hurricanes and senseless loss. An opioid epidemic. The news is full of despair but the world is full of the Holy Spirit! Let us explore where God is in the midst of crisis and what does it take to pray when hope seems lost. I look forward to seeing you at Rudolph's tonight.

Regards,
Rev. Nate Melcher
