Since 2011, the USHJA Foundation has been making dreams come true for riders at all levels by offering custom-designed opportunities in the hunter/jumper sport to USHJA members who face significant adversity, such as mental, physical, or emotional challenges; limited financial resources; or other hardships.
This year, three young riders shared with us their struggles and their ideal equestrian experience through the Making a Dream grant application. With the generosity of our donors and support of our volunteers, the Foundation was able to make their dreams come true

Gochman Grant Gives Pony Finals Riders a Big Reason to Smile
|
Logan Blake Crouser, Olivia deStanley and Ella Doerr were awarded the
USHJA Foundation Gochman Family Grant to attend the 2017 USEF Pony Finals presented by Collecting Gaits Farm, Aug. 8-13. Watch this short recap of their incredible experience! Foundation Prepares to Support Members in Wake of Natural Disasters

In the wake of fires in the Pacific Northwest and hurricanes along the East Coast and in Texas, the USHJA Foundation is preparing to receive requests for assistance from members affected by these tragic events.

Week 5 of the Tryon International Equestrian Center's summer series featured
the inaugural USHJA Foundation Pony Spectacular, offering pony riders the opportunity to prepare and practice in a large, competitive atmosphere before USEF Pony Finals later in the summer.
During the truly spectacular week, Roger and Jennifer Smith
of the Tryon Equestrian Partners (TEP) presented the USHJA Foundation's Bill Rube with a $15,000 check on behalf of TEP in support of the Foundation. Thank you, TEP, for the support!
Brandywine Horse Shows, June 28-July 2 and July 5-9 at the Devon Horse Show Grounds,
again supported the USHJA Foundation. This year, proceeds from the competition went to the USHJA Foundation Horseman's Assistance Fund and Danny & Ron's Rescue.

The Chagrin Hunter Jumper Classic, July 6-16 in Moreland Hills, Ohio, supported several charities, including the USHJA Foundation. Thank you to Chagrin for their continued support.
Blenheim Equisports hosted the WCHR West Coast Hunter Spectacular, which raised funds for the WCHR Program, a program that in part supports the USHJA Foundation Horseman's Assistance Fund. Thank you to all our wonderful supporters who participated in our High Score Challenge!
