Did you know that the Whitemud Ravine is a spawning ground for Walleye, Pike, Sturgeon, Sucker Fish and more? For the month of September (and October if the weather permits) the walking group will be joining a biologist at Whitemud Creek to send off the baby fishes that spawn there every year. Last year the biologist found a sturgeon that was 90 years old! The paths are walker and wheel chair friendly and there are plenty of spots to sit as well as washroom facilities.
