The 2017 edition of " A Helping Hand: The Resource Guide for People With Cancer" is now available!  This free, comprehensive booklet lists organizations that offer financial help to people with cancer, and provides tips for  managing cancer-related costs.

CancerCare Supports Patients Affected by Hurricane Harvey

Cancer Care is partnering with the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Conquer Cancer Foundation, and Community Oncology Alliance to provide emotional and financial support, along with educational information, to cancer patients affected by Hurricane Harvey.

To apply, patients and health care providers can call 800-813-HOPE (4673).

Supporter Spotlight: Caribou Coffee

Since 1995, Caribou Coffee has supported those impacted by cancer in memory of their original Roastmaster, Amy Erickson. Amy's story lives in every bean and is honored in every batch of coffee.

During the month of October, 10 percent of sales from Amy's Blend Coffee and Merchandise, as well as all Caribou Coffee signature blend and single origin purchases, will be donated to Cancer Care. So drink up. Every bean counts.

 


 
Longest Day of Golf Raises More Than $120,000

For nearly 20 years, CancerCare's Longest Day of Golf 
event has brought dedicated golfers together  to test their limits and raise funds and awareness for CancerCare. This year, participants raised more than $120,000 to support CancerCare's free services!

Make sure you've signed up for our upcoming  Connect Education Workshops !  These free workshops  provide the latest cancer information  straight from  leading experts, via phone or online. At the end of the workshop, you'll have a chance to ask the experts your own questions.

 


 
CancerCare Back-to-School Program

The Cancer Care for Kids Back-to-School program is now in its second year, and we're happy to share that we've sent over 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to families throughout the New York tri-state area! 

Through this program, children and teens who have been affected by cancer receive school supply packages free of charge.
