Fall Foliage Canoe/Kayak Trip

You're invited to join the Taunton River Watershed Alliance (TRWA) for a canoe/kayak trip on the Taunton River to enjoy the peak fall foliage. The date is Sunday, October 15. The trip will begin at 10 a.m. at the South Street East river crossing on the Raynham/East Taunton line (check-in at 9:30). It will end approximately four hours later (2 p.m.) at Weir Riverfront Park on East Water Street in Taunton.

The registration cost is $15 per person; $10 per person for TRWA members and their families. Pre-registration is required. You can obtain a registration form by e-mail (

Participants must supply their own canoe or kayak and an extra paddle and wear a flotation device. Youths under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Shuttle service will be provided as needed. No alcohol is allowed on the river.
