UPCOMING EVENTS
Dismissal is at 3 p.m. on Fridays. 
Carpool on early dismissal days: Follows the same Friday carpool procedure (5-8th grade pick up at service entrance of Pollman Hall). However, if students have a sibling in the lower grades, they should go to the regular carpool line.

BAKE CHALLAH THIS THURSDAY!

Each year, Akiba partners with Jewish Family Service to bake over 200 challot for  families in need to receive for Rosh Hashanah. Come and bake challah for a good cause with students this Thursday.

Let's give a warm welcome to our b'not sherut, Emuna Efrati and Noa Groner,  who came to Akiba from Israel to spend the year enriching the lives of  our students with Hebrew, Judaism and a love of Israel.  
 
*The pre-Shabbat coffee for parents of Nitzanim students will join this gathering in the atrium. 

EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAM

Shabbat: Naomi and Sarah's Nitzanim class will host Friday's Shabbat celebration at 9 a.m. in Hanna's Room. Parents from all Nitzanim classes are invited. Afterward, parents may join their children in the classroom for challah and grape juice. 

THIS FRIDAY: Nitzanim parents are invited for schmoozing and coffee before Shabbat from 8:30-9 a.m. in the main building atrium. Please remember that the Shabbat celebration is a  coffee-free and snack-free zone

Volunteer Please sign up to cut and deliver snack to early childhood classrooms and/or bag and deliver challot on Friday. We welcome current parents, grandparents and past parents to volunteer.  Snack helper sign up and  Challah helper sign up.
