CLAREMONT eBuzz

As the end of Summer approaches, maybe it's time for a change -- nothing big necessarily, just something teeny for a start. How about slightly changing your route to/from work or school for a change one day or visiting the Village at a different time of day? Is there some place you've been meaning to visit locally but, haven't? How about making time to do so this month?

Have you ever wanted to know more about The Claremont Colleges' history and architecture? Guided walking tour will take place Sat., Sept. 9 from 9:30-12noon. Meet at Seaver House N/E corner of Bonita and College Avenues. $8/person. Visit Claremont Heritage for details.

Good News... If visiting Rancho Santa Botanic Garden is on your "to-do" list, admission is FREE on Saturday, Sept. 9, Scroll down for details.

More Good News... If you'd wanted to visit Alf Museum of Paleontology, but, could only go on Saturdays? They're open 1-4pm on Saturdays, again.

There are so many events coming up in October, I plan to do an even more extensive listing than usual in the next eBuzz. Be sure to mark your calendar for a very busy 1st weekend in October. Along with the 35th Annual Claremont Heritage Home Tour on Oct. 8, CEF is holding their first-ever Chocolate Walk in the Village on Oct. 7. And those are only 2 events being held on this jam-packed weekend!

Psssst... do you know there's a new Claremont Village event on Sunday, Oct. 29 from 11am-4pm at Shelton Park? Rio de Ojas is producing Dia de los Muertos Claremont Celebration.

This enews contains a variety of fun activities with scads more online at: ClaremontEvents.com. Check it out... who knows what you'll find to do that you haven't done before?
