2017 Candidates Forum - Kenmore City Council

The community is invited to the 2017 Kenmore City Council Candidates Forum. This is a free public non-partisan event. Candidates running for election are invited to communicate their stances regarding issues that affect the Kenmore community, and their qualifications and experience for the positions they seek to hold. This is an opportunity for the public to get to know candidates. 
  
Questions will be prepared in advance. The public is invited to submit questions in writing via mail or email prior to the event no later than September 18, 2017.

Note: The 2017 Bothell Candidates Forum will be held on October 23, 2017.

We are seeking donation items for our 2017 fundraising auction. 

This important event is the Chamber's major fundraiser for the year. Funds raised help keep our dues low for members, and support the Chamber's 50+ events we organize throughout the year. 

We greatly appreciate all items large and small! You and/or your business will be highlighted through ongoing auction promotions and at the event itself. Members and non-members are encouraged to donate.

We are seeking nominations for the Chamber's Board of Directors. Any individual who is an active member, in good standing, and has an interest in organizational leadership shall be qualified to serve as a Director.  Our Board meets once per month and each member serves a three-year term.  If you are interested or know someone who you think would serve the Chamber well, please email Executive Director, Brittany Caldwell at brittany@bothellchamber.com by September 20, 2017 for consideration by the Nominating Committee.

The Hangar is Now Open!

The Town Square and Hangar community building are now complete! Relax by the water feature, get a coffee from the espresso shop in the Hangar, and check out the new space. The Hangar  serves as a gathering space for people to relax, study, read, and play. In the fall, people will be able to reserve rooms in the Hangar. Stay tuned for more information.  

Robbie Christmas at The Cottage

The Cottage in downtown Bothell is very excited to announce that Robbie Christmas will be joining them regularly this fall! Robbie Christmas is a Seattle-based singer songwriter and instrumentalist best known for his pure, soulful voice, timeless lyrics and skilled musicianship.  Robbie has performed with Jakob Dylan, Tower Of Power, has sung the National Anthem in front of 68,000 NFL fans (49ers vs. Seahawks), and performed with Train, Michael Franti, Andy Grammar, on their "Sail Across the Sun" cruise. They hope to see you there!
Volunteers Needed For Mary's Place Work Party

Nonprofit Mary's Place will need all the help they can get to set-up their new Northshore Shelter and Family Center! Volunteers are needed to:
  
* Deep clean the space (wiping walls, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, etc.)
*  Set-up beds
*  Organize common areas and stock with supplies
*  Hang bulletin boards
*  Minor landscaping (weeding, trim hedges, etc.)

2017 Washington State Medical Device Summit
