Audatex - Welder Set up and Test Welds

Recent DEG inquiry 11232 Is welder set up and test weld included in welded panel replacement? 

Audatex response is "Welder setup and test welds are not included in the labor allowance. Language regarding this has been added to a list of future considerations for the Database Reference Manual."

The estimating databases are all intended to be used as a GUIDE ONLY - it is important to remember that the auto body professional performing the repair is in a position to thoroughly inspect, diagnose and identify the methodology and their unique cost of the vehicle damage repair.
