Capitol Hill Farmers Market

11am-3pm  Sundays, Year Round
Broadway Ave E at E Pine St

The Neighborhood Farmers Market Alliance is committed to supporting and strengthening Washington's small family farm businesses by creating and operating vibrant, successful neighborhood farmers markets.

To meet our mission we provide effective direct sales sites for our region's small farmers, while also educating consumers about local farm products and the importance of supporting and preserving local farmland. In addition, we have been at the forefront of advocating for low income benefits programs to ensure equal food access.

It's peak season at the market so come on by to grab some peaches, nectarines, melons, tomatoes, peppers, and all that the summer has to offer. The Capitol Hill Farmers Market opened in 2005, and has been a year round farmers market since 2014.  The market is located on Broadway Avenue in front of Seattle Central Community College and is open every Sunday from 11am-3pm. Stop by to say hi to your local farmers and enjoy some seasonal treats!

Drive Slow, Middle Schoolers Are Among Us!

It's up to all of us to keep them safe.

Seattle has middle schools all over the city, and sometimes located near high speed, heavy traffic-filled streets. With two new schools opening this fall, you never know when a middle schooler might be coming around the corner.

Tips to remember when the school session begins:
1.) Drive slower in school zones; 2.) b e on the lookout for tweens; and 3.) y ield to pedestrians.
This campaign is part of SDOT's Vision Zero  and  Safe Routes to School  work.
