Leaders in the Atlanta manufacturing and supply chain communities will combine forces for the fight against global hunger.
APICS Atlanta and the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance have partnered with Rise Against Hunger to conduct a meal-building operation. Our target is to pack over 5,000 meals that will be distributed to those in need around the globe. There is no charge to attend and please stay afterwards for refreshments, networking, and Trivia.

Their 285,078 sq. ft. production facility has capitalized on maximizing productivity through the diligent application of key advanced manufacturing techniques such as industrial robotics, lean management, and advanced logistics.

September 21 - LaGrange
Attendees will see one of the world's leading providers of surface preparation technology, offering a complete range of airblast, wheelblast, and mass finishing solutions for the aerospace, automotive, foundry, shipping, construction and medical industries. They also provide an automated materials handling solution to include masking, loading and unloading of the components, and delivery.

Their 500,000 sq. ft. facility features state-of-the-art manufacturing and a vast fulfillment center. Advanced RP/Simutech Tour - September 28 - Suwanee
See the Southeast's largest 3D printing Demo Center showcasing Stratasys and Desktop Metal 3D printers. Attendees will walk through the entire 3D printing process from initial concept, to the optimized version, to the finished printed model. SimuTech will present ANSYS for Topology optimization which enables users to specify where supports and loads are best positioned on a volume of material. Using advanced algorithms, the software will predict an optimal shape given the specified criteria.

TSI Solutions will provide hands on demonstrations and plant tours of their T-slot aluminum extrusion production facility and host an expo of products manufactured by Festo, the world's leading provider of factory automation components and systems. TSI also provides systems such as machine guards, machine stands, work stations, enclosures and material handling carts. Refreshments will be provided.
