Greetings,

Our summer upgrades are complete, and the glass blowing studio is operational!

We start off our 'New Year' with our Artists in Heat membership drive. This year we welcome Grant Garmezy as our guest artist to kick things off. Please join us at BRIT on Friday the 8th from 6p-9p for a meet and greet with Grant and to learn more about what we do. The following day, Grant will demo for FWADA Fall Gallery Night from 12p-9p. Both events are free to attend, but we do ask for and RSVP for the meet and greet. That can be done HERE.

A big thank you to Nick Gomez and William McElmurry for demoing for August's Open Studio Night. They created some really great pieces. They still have some finishing work left to go on them but rest assure, we will post images of the completed pieces as soon as we can. Images from the evening can be seen HERE.

Gas Pump Gumball Machine Fundraiser

A limited number of gumballs are still available!

A favorite feature of the studio, the Gas Pump Gumball Machine gives us a fun and fanciful way to bring attention to the people that help make all of this magic happen, just like you! All donations over $50 will be recognized with one name sandblasted onto an over-sized glass gumballs in the machine. Click HERE

Beads of C ourage Bead Challenge

SiNaCa Studios is excited to be a host studio for the Beads of Courage National Bead Challenge! Join us on Saturday, September 23 (11a-4p) and cheer on our artists as they create beads for this great cause. We are planning a day full of activities for members of the program and members of our community and 6 hours of fire fueled entertainment provided by local professional and rising artists while creating glass beads right before your eyes! Kid's Connect2Glass

September 10th
Sessions start at 1p

Held once a month in our kiln forming studio. Kids can choose from one of a variety of projects to complete in the hour long workshop. Up to four participants per session.

Open Studio Night

September 8th | 6pm-9pm

Join us the second Friday of each month from 6p-9p as we host an open studio night at SiNaCa. This is your chance to find out more about the "magic" that goes in to creating glass art. As the artist creates their work we give you an interactive play by play, so you can understand better why they do what they do. Our on site gallery showcases our featured artist to give you a close up view of what they create. Its also the perfect time to find out how you can get involved in learning how to work with glass.

Glass Classes

SiNaCa Studios offers a variety of ever evolving hot and warm glass programs. We offer short term classes ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours in our hot shop (glass blowing studio), kiln forming studio and flame working studio. If you want a more in depth learning opportunity we have 6 week extended programs in the hot shop, and 3 week extended programs in kiln forming that give you a greater understanding of the different ways to manipulate glass. Newbie Classes

Experience workshops are the perfect way to be introduced to working with glass in any one of our three studios. Use the links for full descriptions, availability and prices of the classes.

Experience Flame Working -
A 3-hour workshop working with both soft glass and borosilicate glass in front of an open torch.

Experience Kiln Forming -
A 2-hour workshop working with Bullseye glass in its solid state to create two unique projects.

Experience Glass Blowing -
A 2-hour workshop working with glass at 2100º, creating two items.

Experience Sand Casting -
A 30 minute workshop where you will make your very own sand cast glass tile!

Each of the items we feature are designed to take 20-30 minutes for you to help make with one of our instructors. You pick your colors and manipulate the glass to create your one-of-a-kind glass treasure!
