Lindsay has worked in the healthcare industry for 20 years. Her cumulative experience in healthcare, combined with her personal experience with Lyme and the aftermath of a car accident has brought her to where she is now. She practices the power of healing through touch - and she wants to help the individuals she works with in their journey toward optimal wellness.

Lindsay's areas of focus include: Craniosacral Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Manual Lymph Drainage, Myofascial Release, Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration, Neuromuscular Therapy, Pregnancy Massage,  and Oncology Massage.

An important topic to address this month is the rising incidence of childhood obesity, which is actually a global health issue in developed countries, particularly in our country. The percentage of children with obesity in the United States has more than tripled since the 1970's.

School is back in session! Our young ones and teenage children embrace the sport of their choice as the sense of spirit and pride begins to fill the air! Growing up in a small town where football, soccer, and the additional contact sports become a uniting thread, bringing the community together and observed in all communities with this similar passion; mentioning concern of childhood concussions can invoke a defense.

Thank you to all who volunteered to donate their blood to advance the LYMESEQ test for diagnosis of Lyme Disease in the first and second clinical trials held at the Stram Center. 

The study is looking for participants who are healthy but aren't feeling well, don't know why but suspect a tick borne infection; or participants who have been diagnosed with tick borne illness and have been previously treated. You must be 18 years of age or older to donate.

What: A free support group for all teens and young adults who are afflicted with Lyme are welcome! You do not have to be a patient at the Stram Center. Join Rebecca Rice, the Stram Center's licensed acupuncturist and Reiki Master for a certification Reiki I class on Saturday Sept 30, 2017 from 10am to 3pm. This class will provide the student with level one experience, manual and certificate. Reiki is a powerful yet subtle tool to open one's heart, to healing and being healed. 
Yoga For Bone Health
At The Stram Center!

Our Yoga for Bone Health is focused on anatomy and proper alignment to improve your posture and balance, give you greater flexibility and range of motion, decrease stress and help counteract osteoporosis.

Yoga for Bone Health is Thursdays, 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM. Class size will remain small for individual assistance. Click the button below for more details.

Beginner's Yoga
Saturdays: 10 AM to 11 AM

If you are curious or have wanted to try yoga for enhanced health and well being, this beginner yoga class will gently guide you through common poses used in yoga classes.
