And the Palisades Interstate Park, just up the hill on Palisade Avenue, offers a 100,000 acres of trails, picnic areas, and activities along the Palisades and Hudson River. A hit with local residents is The Snack Shack at the Englewood Boat Basin!

What's an
"age-friendly" city?

A few years ago, the World Health Organization conducted a study of 33 cities in 22 countries and developed a  checklist of essential features of  age-friendly cities.

Age-Friendly Englewood is working with individuals, organizations and
City government to help these ideals become a reality in Englewood.
